Nettiquette

Netiquette is a set of rules for behaving properly online. What it affects is mostly anybody who uses the internet.Some examples of good netiquette is to share your answers to questions for anyone also help keep flame wars under control, respect other peoples privacy, don't read other peoples emails, don't go through other peoples files and don't abuse your power. Some examples of poor netiquette is pointing out when someone has poor netiquette and when you post flame-bait.

Social Network

Social Networking is where you can connect with old friends or family members. It is a website where you can basically talk with friends or keep in touch with people who may not live by you or that you cant see often. A digital footprint is where you put something onto the internet and once its on there you can get it back. It technically permanent and once its there its there. Social networking affects digital foot printing by maybe you saying something on the certain social network that really wasn't appropriate or something that was private and once it is there its there and you cant take it back.

Copyright...Don't do it.

In the article that i read about Copyright it said that when you buy a CD and you want to use it for something else you can record it or put it as a MP3 file. Except it must be for your own personal use, you can not sell or let other people use it without getting the original owners permission. You also can go to prison for up to 3 years and get a $250,000 fine. Then is if you go an repeat what you did you could get up to 6 years in prison and or you could get up to $150,000 per infringed copyright. Also if you copy a structure of a building you could get in trouble if the actual owner owns the blue print of that architecture. So technically if you take something that is not yours like a song the beat the lyrics or even a structure of a building you could get in a lot of trouble and either a big fine or you could be sued.

Johnny Cash vs Gordon Jenkins

In this copyright case the orginal song that was in question was on the album called Seven dreams. The song in question was on the second dream the name of that song was The Conductor.There was a debate saying that the lyrics with the two songs were very similar or identical.It took 15 years for Gordon to sue Johnny cash. I guess the case was dropped because it wasn't talked about again.

Research Project Wrap-Up!

My favorite part about doing this project would probably be learning about the different places there were in Australia. i thought that was pretty interesting. My least favorite part was having to research all the stuff and then putting it together on the slide show. I learned a lot of new stuff about Australia. I found out that they have many cool things to go and see and that they built a road in honor of WW1 soldiers. The most difficult thing to find during my projects was when i had to do the brochure and I had to find the admissions or costs of the place I was doing. Some strong points was when I went to the tour stops i thought I did good on those.

New Year!

The highlight of the year 2011 was when i turned 15 years old. My low point was when a family friend died. What i would have done differently would be to be more positive and to get more done than what i did. My goals for 2012 are to improve my grades and too be more positive towards life.If i were given $100,000 to start the new year of 2012 i would spend it on new clothes and my drivers license and a new car. These are my thoughts of the year 2011 and my goals for the new year of 2012.
